Discussion about definition paragraph was easier than argumentative paragraph. A definition paragraph tells what a word means. When we want our readers to know exactly how you are using a specific term, you define it and an argument paragraph involves taking a well-thought-out position on a debatable topic.

Two weeks ago I discussed with Nisa’ about definition paragraph, my topic was Cholera and Nisa’was Orchid flower. She confused with my words on the text because I used AWL words. I thought we must use AWL(academic word list) words when we want to write an academic writing like in my on her writing, she gave general example I thought it was better if she gave specific example so that the readers can be more understanding on her paragraph.
